Describe your DJ style:
Client-centered. My job is to make my clients' vision of great entertainment a reality. I am in tune with what they want to hear and compliment it with my experience in reading the crowd. My goal is to connect musically with guests from young to old and everybody in between so that everyone has a great time.
What is your usual attire?
We dress to fit the occasion keeping in mind the importance of professionalism.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If I don't currently have the song in my library, I make it a point to obtain it before the event. The only exception would be if the song is going to be used for a special performance or presentation. Those are usually edited for that exact reason and are different from the album or remixed versions that I use or have access to.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I have an assistant that helps with set up and break down. Other than that, once you book with me, rest assured that I will be the DJ for your event. If I am unavailable for your event, I am networked with several other wedding professionals that i can refer you to.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Most definitely. I think it is very important to meet my clients to get a better understanding about their needs and expectations. I am also able to offer advice if they ask for it. This helps to ensure that the event will be a fun and memorable experience for the clients and their guests.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. We use quality professional equipment in order to provide the best entertainment possible.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We use professional grade LED lighting to enhance the right mood on the dance floor. In addition we also have uplighting for an ambient effect. These lights can be matched to the color scheme of the event.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Traffic is so unpredictable so we make it a point to be onsite well in advance. We try to be completely set up at least an hour or more before the start of the event. A table and an adequate power supply are all we need.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
We work with the space that is given to us. If the event is outdoors, all we ask is that adequate shelter be provided for our gear in case of inclement weather.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We are able to provide emcee services based on the clients' needs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Meals are nice but not a requirement.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
In the event that I need to step away for a short while, my assistant will be able to monitor the equipment so there will be continuous music.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We are networked with several other industry professionals, so coverage is available, although it is highly unlikely that this need will ever arise.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Definitely not. Clients deserve my full attention for their special day.
What is your overtime rate?
This is negotiable
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
This is also negotiable
